    The West Monroe Police Department is hosting a seminar on "RISK MANAGEMENT CONSIDERATIONS in PUBLIC SAFETY OPERATIONS" presented by Gordon J. Graham.

    Gordon J. Graham is a 25 year veteran of Law Enforcement.  He is a nationally recognized speaker in the area of Organizational and Operational Risk Management, Professionalism, Civil Liability and Ethical Decision Making.

    Mr. Graham's seminar is appropriate for all supervisors and managers.  First he addresses why things generally go wrong, and how to prevent these unfortunate situations from happening.  He follows up his prevention efforts with a dynamic presentation on how to recognize the incidents that have a likelihood of ending up in litigation.  Finally, he concludes his program with a detailed examination on how to prove proper conduct.

    Mr. Graham has made over 3,000 presentations to various groups including law enforcement, corrections personnel, fraud investigators, fire professionals, EMS, first responders, legal professionals, educators, city, county and district employees, law firms, hospitals and real estate companies along with many other private sector organizations.
